To use the LRBW facility you must either have bulky waste coupons or pay as you go.
Bulky waste coupons may be obtained by the property owner from the town office where you are a resident if you are from a participating town. Renters must obtain coupons from their landlords.
Items Accepted at the Bulky Waste Facility
Bin #1 Copper pipe, wire, radiators & fittings
Bin #2 Aluminum lawn chairs, pipe, ect.
Bin #3 All Other Metals large & small appliances, ect.
Bin #4 Oversized Bulky Waste (OBW) overstuffed furniture, stuffed
animals, plastics, paper, ect.
Bin #5 OBW mattresses, (NO box springs), carpet (NO padding)
Bin #7 Glass windows, mirrors, toilets, sinks, (NO fluorescent bulbs)
Bin #8 Demolition Debris sheetrock (painted or wallpapered),
insulation, styrofoam, fiberglass, ect. (NO burnable items)
Bin #9 Shingles Clean Only, NO wood or metals other than nails.
Bin #10 Sheetrock Clean Only, NO paint or wallpaper
Refrigerators/Air Conditioners Area Doors must be removed from
refrigerators.
These items go down behind the tire trailer.
Tires Area NO Rims, NO oversized tires (See attendant for Details) There is a charge for tires on rims and a limit on the number of tires that can be brought in to the facility.
Wood Area painted, clean, fiber wood, ect. (NO pressure treated wood)
Pressure Treated Wood Area Pressure treated wood only (NO burnt wood)
Compost Area Yard rakings Only (NO Contaminants such as pesticides,
Herbicides, ect.)
Brush Area Brush and round Only (NO spikes, stumps or contaminants)
Stump Area Stumps Only (Charges of 5’ per pound for stumps over 1000 pounds)
Ash Area Clean fire place ashes Only (NO contaminants)
Fluorescent Bulbs - 25’ per foot charge for long fluorescent bulbs, $1.50 each for U Tubes
Misc. - $2.00 per pound for PCB Ballast, $25.00 per pound for items containing
mercury.
